SAN SEBASTIÁN, Spain, September 15th - Multiverse Computing and Zylon today announced a partnership to bring compressed frontier AI models to organizations that cannot share their data externally. Multiverse Computing's AI models will run natively inside Zylon's on-premise platform, giving regulated customers a fully European stack across both the model layer and the infrastructure that serves it.
The partnership removes a trade-off that has stalled AI adoption in regulated sectors. Frontier models normally demand large GPU clusters, which pushes organizations toward third-party clouds, something Zylon's customers, who run AI entirely on hardware inside their own security perimeter, cannot do. Multiverse Computing's compressed and optimized AI models close that gap as they run on the same inference server a Zylon customer already owns, but deliver a larger, more capable model, or serve far more concurrent users, without any new hardware.
Zylon is the only on-premise AI platform purpose-built for regulated industries, guaranteeing data sovereignty, zero sub-processors and full cost control. It runs completely air-gapped, combining a ready-to-use AI workspace with agentic capabilities and a platform API for custom development. Compression also changes the economics. Multiverse reports up to 84 percent greater energy efficiency, roughly 50 percent lower cost and 4 to 12 times faster inference. An independent study by Sopra Steria also corroborates energy and CO2 savings of 30 to 50 percent with accuracy retained. Fewer GPUs mean lower energy draw and lower capital expenditure, and Zylon caps software cost. For organizations facing high energy prices alongside EU AI Act and ESG obligations, that is a total-cost-of-ownership case rather than just a compliance obligation.
