In an effort to make quantum computing as accessible as possible, Multiverse Computing is releasing the Singularity spreadsheet app for quantum investment optimization.
The company, which combines quantum and quantum-inspired solutions to tackle complex open problems in finance, said in a blog post that it will give clients access to its portfolio optimization toolbox. They said they’re doing this by connecting all of the really complicated stuff — the quantum computer — to a simple, intuitive front-end.
“Quantitative analysts can now optimize investments on a quantum computer — D-Wave’s quantum annealer — directly from an Excel spreadsheet,” the team writes.
