Among the shortlisted companies nominated for the Energy category was the Tech company Multiverse, a leading provider of quantum computing systems, known for its several innovative technologies in the Energy sector. Quantum computing enabled Multiverse to help its clients in the energy sector forecast future supply and demand, ensuring efficiency and a lower carbon footprint.

Multiverse has recently released several quantum computing innovations. Including the latest edition of Singularity Portfolio Optimization (v 1.2). The tool was designed to assist portfolio managers in achieving the best possible balance of risk and return among the many assets under consideration while adhering to the investor’s preferred minimum and maximum allocations per asset. And the new quantum-based Fair Price Solution for investment portfolios. This new solution provides a real-time assessment of the fair price for any given security, wherever it trades worldwide, including stocks on major exchanges.

Furthermore, Multiverse Computing has also formed alliances and partnerships with several leading quantum tech companies specializing in different areas of application such as quantum control, computational methods, energy, finance, marketing, chemistry, and logistics.

A few of its notable collaborations were the collaboration with Xanadu, which will enable financial services applications to increase efficiency through increased speed, as well as more robust risk bank intelligence in areas ranging from risk modelling to market forecasting through Pennylane. The partnership with IQM focuses on the advancement of the growth of quantum technology in solving real-world problems through developing integrated solutions for specific quantum-based applications.
