The project, led by Nunsys and developed in collaboration with MARINA BARCELONA 92, sought to create an intelligent digital environment for shipbuilding, integrating disruptive technologies such as cognitive-analytical artificial intelligence, quantum computing, and quantum-inspired computing.

The consortium has promoted the transition toward a more sustainable, efficient, and competitive Naval Industry 5.0 through the creation of Smart Digital Tools capable of optimizing predictive maintenance, zero-defect quality, and circularity in industrial processes.

In this context, Multiverse contributed its international leadership in quantum software and hybrid quantum-classical algorithms. Its role in the project focused on researching and developing new applications of quantum and quantum-inspired computing for the optimization of industrial processes, advanced data analysis, and quantum data mining, ensuring data privacy and governance through quantum federated learning techniques.

The company explored the use of cutting-edge quantum software architectures for integrating hybrid algorithms into real-world naval industry environments, demonstrating their effectiveness in processing large volumes of industrial big data and their positive impact on key operational and environmental performance indicators (KPIs).

Thanks to its expertise in Quantum Machine Learning (QML) and Quantum Optimization (QOptOps), Multiverse contributed to the creation of an advanced cognitive engine based on Quantum Artificial Intelligence, designed to improve energy efficiency, reduce the carbon footprint, and optimize decision-making in shipyards.

This project has marked a pioneering milestone in the application of quantum computing to the naval industry, consolidating Multiverse Computing’s position as an international benchmark in advanced and sustainable industrial digitalization. Its participation has strengthened Spain’s ecosystem for high-impact technological innovation, aligned with the goals of the Digital Spain 2025 Agenda and the principles of Industry 5.0.
